AI & Safety Disclaimer
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Short version: the guide and the AI assistant can be wrong. Anything you do to your printer is your own decision and your own risk.
The AI assistant can be wrong
The AI assistant generates answers automatically with a third-party language model. It can produce answers that are incorrect, incomplete, outdated, made up, or not suitable for your exact printer, firmware or setup — even when it sounds confident or cites a guide article. Its answers are not reviewed by a person and are not professional advice.
Check before you act
Before following any instruction from the guide or the AI assistant:
- Compare it with your printer manufacturer's official documentation and support.
- Make sure it matches your exact model, hardware revision and firmware.
- If you are unsure, ask the manufacturer or a qualified person.
Dangerous work
3D printers use mains electricity, heaters above 250 °C, heated beds and moving parts. Wiring, power supply, heater, thermistor and firmware work can cause fire, electric shock, burns or permanent damage.
- Always switch off and unplug the printer before working on it.
- Never disable or bypass thermal runaway protection or other safety features.
- Never leave a printer running unattended unless you have taken appropriate fire precautions.
- Modifying your printer may void its warranty.
No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3D Print Guide and its operator are not responsible for any damage to your printer, parts, materials or property, for fire, injury, failed prints, data loss or any other loss that results from using the guide or the AI assistant or from acting on their content. You use the information entirely at your own risk. See section 8 of the Terms of Service.
Independent project
3D Print Guide is not affiliated with Prusa Research, Bambu Lab, Creality, Elegoo or any other manufacturer. Their names are used only to identify the printers the guide covers.
