Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data 3D Print Guide collects and why. The controller is Matúš Kačina, Slovakia (contact: iceyy@ascensionrealms.net).

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
  • Chat data: the questions you ask the AI assistant, its answers, and your conversation history. Photos you attach are sent to the AI model to answer your question and are not stored by us.
  • Usage data: how many AI questions you ask per day, used for daily limits, abuse prevention and anonymous statistics.
  • Payment data: your order (plan, price, currency, promo code, status) and the Polar order ID and email that Polar sends us. We never receive card or bank details — Polar handles those.
  • Technical data: cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language. Your theme choice is stored only in your browser.

Why we use it (legal basis, GDPR)

  • To provide the Service and your account, chat history and Premium — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep payment records — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), for accounting and tax.
  • To prevent abuse, enforce limits and keep the Service secure — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • Supabase — database and sign-in.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Google (Gemini API) — generates AI answers from your questions and photos. Do not include personal or sensitive information in your questions.
  • Google — "Continue with Google" sign-in, if you use it.
  • Polar — checkout and payments as merchant of record (Polar is an independent controller for payment and billing data).

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Account, chat history and usage data: until you delete your conversations or ask us to delete your account.
  • Payment records: as long as accounting and tax law requires (in Slovakia generally 10 years).

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can delete individual conversations yourself in the chat history. To use any other right, email iceyy@ascensionrealms.net. You can also complain to the Slovak data protection authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk).

Cookies

We only use cookies that are needed for the Service to work (sign-in session and language). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
