Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of 3D Print Guide (the website, the Android app and the AI assistant, together the "Service"), operated by Matúš Kačina, Slovakia ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
3D Print Guide is an informational resource about FDM 3D printers. It contains guide articles and an AI assistant that generates answers automatically. All content is general information, not professional, engineering, electrical or safety advice.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details safe.
- We may suspend, limit ("timeout") or close accounts that break these Terms, abuse the AI assistant, try to get around limits or payments, or harm the Service or other users. Where the law allows, this can happen without prior notice.
3. AI assistant and daily limits
- Free accounts can ask 2 questions per day. Premium accounts can ask 20 questions per day. Limits reset at midnight UTC and unused questions do not carry over.
- Answers are generated by a third-party AI model and can be wrong, incomplete, outdated or unsafe. See the AI & Safety Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.
- You must not use the assistant for anything illegal, to generate harmful content, or to overload the Service (for example with automated requests).
- We may change the AI models, limits and features at any time.
4. Premium plans and payment
- Premium is sold as a one-time, prepaid period of 1, 3 or 12 months at the price shown at checkout, in the currency you choose (EUR, USD, GBP, PLN or CZK), including VAT. It does not renew automatically. Buying again adds the time to your current period.
- Purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record: Polar sells and invoices Premium to you, takes the payment (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay) and handles VAT. Polar's own terms also apply to the purchase. We never receive your card details.
- Premium starts as soon as Polar confirms the payment.
- Promo codes are optional, cannot be exchanged for cash, can be limited in uses or time, and may be withdrawn at any time. One code per purchase.
- We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Premium is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout you expressly ask for Premium to start straight away and confirm that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once it starts. Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy.
6. Your use of guide content
You may read and use the guide for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the guide in bulk, resell it, or scrape the Service.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any instruction will work for your printer.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any damage to printers, parts, materials, property or data, for fire, injury, lost prints, lost time or lost profits, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the guide or the AI assistant, or from acting on any information in them.
- You perform any repair, modification, calibration, firmware change or electrical work entirely at your own risk.
- Our total liability for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €10 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
9. Indemnity
You agree to cover our costs and losses if a third party makes a claim against us because you misused the Service or broke these Terms.
10. Trademarks
Prusa, Bambu Lab, Creality, Elegoo and other product names are trademarks of their owners. 3D Print Guide is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any manufacturer.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms. The current version is always on this page; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. We may change or stop the Service. If we stop it permanently, we will refund the unused part of any active Premium period.
12. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence. EU consumers can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform or contact the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI) for alternative dispute resolution.
