First-Time Setup & Calibration

1. Remove the transport foam and screws marked in the quick-start guide. The single Z arm is locked for shipping.
2. Place the printer on a stable surface with free space in front of and behind the bed.
3. Power on — the A1 mini runs automatic bed leveling, Z-offset, vibration compensation and motor noise cancellation. Do not touch the printer while it calibrates.
4. Load filament from the spool holder on the top of the frame or from the AMS lite, then print a built-in test model.

Tip: The cantilever arm is sensitive to a loose frame. If prints show steps or layer shifts after moving the printer, check that the base screws are tight and re-run calibration.
