Can the A1 print ABS or ASA? Not reliably. It is an open-frame printer, so large ABS/ASA parts warp and crack. Stick to PLA, PETG and TPU, or choose an enclosed printer.

How loud is it? Quiet for its speed — the motor noise cancellation calibration noticeably reduces stepper noise. Silent mode lowers it further at the cost of speed.

A1 or A1 mini? The A1 has a 256 mm build volume and a classic gantry; the A1 mini is 180 mm with a single-arm design. Same software, same hotend, same AMS lite.

Can I build an enclosure? For dust and noise, yes. Do not run PLA in a closed box without ventilation — heat build-up can cause heat creep and clogs.
