First-Time Setup & Assembly

1. Mount the gantry frame onto the base with the included screws and tighten them in a cross pattern so the frame sits square.
2. Connect every cable to the labeled port — the V3's CoreXZ motion uses two motors working together, so swapped motor cables cause strange diagonal moves.
3. Check that both belts are tensioned evenly.
4. Power on and run the self-test: heaters, fans, input shaping and automatic leveling run in one go.

Unlike the original Ender 3, there is no manual bed leveling and no paper test — the printer does it with a strain-gauge sensor.
