Firmware updates

Updates are offered over Wi-Fi on the touchscreen. Install them when idle and keep power on until the printer restarts.

Slicers

  • Creality Print has official K1C profiles and sends prints over the network.
  • OrcaSlicer also ships K1C profiles and is popular for its calibration tools.

Root access

Recent Creality OS versions include an optional root access switch in the settings. It gives you full Klipper access (Fluidd/Mainsail, custom macros), but changes are your responsibility and may affect warranty support. Leave it off unless you need it.
