First-Time Setup & Calibration

  1. Remove the transport locks and foam listed in the handbook. If you built the kit, follow Prusa's online assembly guide step by step.
  2. Insert the print sheet onto the bed's locating pins.
  3. Power on and follow the setup wizard: selftest of fans and heaters, loadcell test, filament sensor test and input-shaping-ready motion checks.
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet and link the printer to Prusa Connect if you want remote control.
  5. Print the first-layer test, then one of the included sample models.

The Core One uses the same Nextruder and loadcell as the MK4, so most MK4 knowledge carries over.
